Welcome to Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC)!
It is our mission during every season of life to bring hope and healing to our patients who call LLCHC their medical home. With God’s grace, LLCHC continues to fulfill its mission to provide the comprehensive health care services that are needed in our neighborhoods.
We recently expanded our services to address addictions to opioids, heroin and other substances that are causing serious illnesses, injuries and death in staggering numbers in Central Ohio. Our new program, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT), is a holistic approach to treatment which combines medication with intensive counseling integrated into primary care.
In the coming months, LLCHC will open a nonprofit grocery store and café to meet a growing need for access to healthy and affordable foods in Franklinton. With the opening of Jubilee Market and Graze Café in September, Franklinton residents will be able to purchase fresh, high quality food at an affordable cost.
LLCHC is a place of hope where patients are treated with respect, dignity and compassion. With the help and support of our partners and donors we are changing the health outcomes of our community one patient and one family at a time. Read about how our doctors and staff helped a young woman in this patient story, and how you can join our mission today!
In His Service,
Dr. Dana Vallangeon
LLCHC had the privilege of caring for a vulnerable, uninsured woman with no social support during her first pregnancy. We witnessed God provide for her, carrying her through a complicated delivery, sustaining her in recovery, and blessing her with a beautiful, healthy baby. We are caring for her again in her second pregnancy with fetal complications while her husband is recovering from a serious accident. She continues to bless God in her circumstances as He provides for her and her family. Our relationship over the past few years has given the young mother hope. She appreciates that her doctor shares her faith and prays with and for her. We are thankful that God led her to seek care at LLCHC where she has received the support and holistic care she needs.
In the coming months, LLCHC will open a nonprofit grocery store and café to meet a growing need for access to healthy and affordable foods in Franklinton. With the opening of Jubilee Market and Café in the fall, Franklinton residents will be able to purchase fresh, high quality food at an affordable cost.
