Our Franklinton Central location can be found at the medical offices of Mount Carmel in Franklinton. We are conveniently located near W. Broad Street and accessible from Franklinton, Downtown Columbus and its nearby neighborhoods. We offer a full range of primary care services and accept all patients regardless of income or ability to pay.

We offer a wide range of primary care services, including:

  • Sports and work physicals
  • Child well-care and immunizations
  • Annual exams for women, including breast exams, pap smears and other cancer screenings
  • Annual exams for men, including prostate cancer exams
  • Screenings and treatment of chronic illness
  • Health education
Behavioral Health

We also offer behavioral health services and substance use disorder treatment at our Franklinton Central location, including psychiatric care and counseling as well as outpatient and medication-assisted treatment.

Insurances We Accept

Lower Lights Health accepts those with and without insurance. We accept major health insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance and also offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.

Patient, visitor and handicap parking is located in Parking Garage 1 off of S. Davis Avenue (enter from West Town Street), next to Medical Office Building 2 (777 W. State Street) across from the Emergency Room. The entrance for this garage is at the intersection of W Town St and S Davis Ave (College of Nursing Address is 127 S Davis Ave, Columbus, OH 43222 for mapping/navigation purposes). All transportation service vehicles may pick up and drop off patients and visitors under the awning of Medical Office Building 2.
