Provider Change Notification

Dear Valued Patient,

We are writing to let you know that your current healthcare provider, Lorena Guzman Aria Jones, has transitioned from Lower Lights Health Center as of July 3, 2025. We are truly grateful for the excellent care and compassion Lorena provided to our patients and wish her all the best in her future endeavors!

To ensure that your care continues without interruption, we are pleased to introduce your new provider, Dr. Jessica Lowther! Dr. Lowther brings her own strengths and a shared commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. We’d like to share some information on Dr. Lowther’s background and vision for patient care:

Education:

Barnard College, Columbia University BA in Neuroscience and Behavior; Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College); Georgetown University/Providence Hospital Family Medicine Residency

Memberships:

American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) certified

Professional Background:

CCI Health and Wellness – Silver Spring, MD, Doctor on Demand/Included Health, and HealthTap Primary Care. I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings with patients from around the U.S., in person and via telehealth.

Personal Statement:

My heart is to share the love and goodness of God with every person/patient that I encounter. My goal is to meet patients where they are and bring them to the best level of health possible – spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and more. I believe in getting to the root of illness which is often lifestyle and mental/spiritual health and addressing these issues head on. It is my pleasure and privilege to provide my patients with whole person care in both English and Spanish. Everyone should have access to excellent healthcare, and I look forward to providing this at Lower Lights.
