Do you need to be tested for the COVID-19 virus? Testing is recommended for those who are symptomatic, or whom believe they have been exposed to someone with Covid-19, or those who live in congregate housing (such as a shelter). Testing is FREE and available for anyone wishing to be tested. You do not need a referral to be tested. Symptoms may include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash on skin, discoloration of fingers or toes, chest pressure or pain, loss of speech or movement. Important: if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
Take-home COVID-19 tests are available at all Lower Lights Christian Health Center locations. If you are symptomatic, please have some one else pick up the test for you. You must have internet access to use these tests.
