At Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC), healthy transformation happens every day. This year, we have the honor of debuting a new video at our Building Health, Empowering Community Breakfast that tells the story of one remarkable patient, Martha, whose journey reflects the heart of LLCHC’s mission. Her courage, resilience, and faith remind us that healthcare comprises more than just medicine—it revolves around healing, hope, and community. Though Martha has a remarkable story all her own, she’s far from the only person to benefit from our holistic approach to health care. Every day, we see patients who once felt lost in the healthcare system and now find a new beginning at LLCHC! Whether it’s a child receiving their first dental exam, an adult managing a health condition with confidence, or a family receiving behavioral health support in a time of crisis—lives are being transformed.

Expanding Transformation in Northland

For healthcare transformation to take place, patients need access. Our upcoming Northland location represents a true step forward in making healthcare available to every one of our neighbors, especially in one of Columbus’s most diverse communities. With this expansion, more families than ever will have access to comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, and wellness services close to home.

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, LLCHC will host the Building Health, Empowering Community Breakfast at The Boat House in Columbus. Hosted by Matt Barnes, NBC4 Today Anchor, and sponsored by Compton Construction, this special event will bring together community leaders, partners, and supporters to celebrate the lives being transformed and to rally behind the vision of expanding care in Northland.
