Holiday Cheer at Lower Lights Health: Celebrating Community, Compassion, and the Season of Giving

The holiday season has officially arrived at Lower Lights Health and with it comes one of our favorite traditions: celebrating the spirit of community, gratitude, and togetherness! As we wrap up this year, we’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at how our teams are spreading joy across our health centers, all while continuing to deliver the whole-person healthcare our patients depend on.

A Franklinton Tradition: The Lower Lights Christmas Tree

One of our longest-standing holiday traditions is decorating the Christmas tree at our Franklinton health center. This beloved tree has been with us for many years, and with the help of dedicated volunteers and staff, it once again shines brightly in our lobby! Whether you’re visiting as a patient, volunteering your time, or stopping by the pharmacy, the tree is there to welcome you throughout the season.

Celebrating Our Teams

Across our sites, departments have been hosting small end-of-year gatherings to reflect on their incredible work and accomplishments.

  • The Marketing and Development team enjoyed a festive afternoon with Korean fried chicken and a group painting activity.

  • Other teams celebrated with pizza, outings, or simple moments of camaraderie after a year of exceptional service.

These celebrations serve as a heartfelt “thank you” to our staff. They remain the people who make Lower Lights Health an anchor of compassion and quality care in Central Ohio.

A Little Friendly Competition: The Cubicle Decorating Contest

Holiday cheer spreads throughout the office thanks to our annual cubicle decorating contest! Team members transform their workspaces into winter wonderlands, and some of the entries get unbelievably creative. It’s a fun way to bring extra joy into the workplace during one of our busiest seasons! Check out one of last year’s entries on the right.

Caring for Our Community All Season Long

Even amid the festivities, our mission remains at the forefront of all that we do. Lower Lights Health will continue serving patients throughout December, closing only on December 24 and 25 and reopening promptly on the 26th. We know our community relies on consistent, affordable, whole-person health care—and we’re committed to being here when patients need us most.

Thank you to everyone who makes this season bright at Lower Lights Health: our patients, staff, volunteers, supporters, and community partners. Stay warm, stay safe, and be sure to check in next week for our final blog post of the year. You won’t want to miss it!
