Dear Valued Patient,

Thank you for choosing to receive your care at Lower Lights Health. We know that patients have many options to choose from and value your care. Continuity of care, access to care, and relationships are core to our mission. We do need to let you know that Amanda Viles, NP will be moving on from Lower Lights in December. While we are grateful for Amanda’s service to you and our other patients, we’re very pleased to introduce you to a new medical provider who will see you on future visits to Lower Lights Health’s Franklinton Central location. Our goal is to continue your care with the least amount of interruption. Your new medical provider is Nurse Practitioner Carrie Ward.

We’d like to share some information on Carrie Ward’s experience and vision for patient care:

Carrie Ward, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, S.S. Ed., RN, CGRN

Education: Franklin University, Master of Science in Nursing; Central Ohio Technical College, Associate’s Degree in Nursing; The Ohio State University, Bachelor of Science in Education.

Professional Background: Over 15 years of nursing expertise in emergency care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, and epidemiological services, along with a year of primary care clinical rotations at Lower Lights in the Franklinton and Linden areas.

Personal Statement: As a provider, my focus is high-quality personalized care to underserved communities. I believe that healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my patients. I find it a privilege to be a part of Lower Lights and its impact on the communities.

During the evaluation with your new provider, you will spend time reviewing your history and current medications. Your new provider wants to understand your medical background to determine the best therapy for each medical concern you might have.

Please call us at (614) 274-1455 to schedule an appointment with Carrie Ward if you do not already have one scheduled, and do not hesitate to use our Walk-In Provider at the Health Center (1160 W. Broad St.) as needed.
